As a former Marketing Executive with 20 years in both traditional and web marketing and CEO of my own search engine marketing company, I am now integrating my expertise in new media with my passion for documentary photography, multimedia, and storytelling.
Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by stories. I have captured these stories in photography, in writing, and just sitting around the dinner table with family and friends.
I recently purchased a Canon 5D, Mark II with HD Video. I love shooting in nature; in the early morning before the world is awake, sitting in a kayak with a family of loons floating alongside, watching a great blue heron glide across a lake, or walking along the shore capturing fishing boats heading out for their daily catch. This is where I am at peace. This is where I feel alive.
I love all kinds of stories: Personal stories like the Nolan family house on Cushing’s Island, or of strength and determination as in the Tri for a Cure triathlon for the Maine Cancer Foundation, and those of nature and beauty – as with the project I created for Maine Audubon.
We all have a story. A person, a place, a time we want to remember.
